Ayush intern for 15 years on a stipend of ₹7,500: He says he gets ₹25,000 in another state, so why not me?

Students of state-run Ayurvedic and AYUSH colleges in Uttar Pradesh have been demanding an increase in their stipend for internship for the past month. The students claim that despite working in OPD, IPD, 24-hour emergency services, and national health programs in hospitals, they are still receiving a stipend of ₹7,500 per month. They are demanding that this be increased to ₹25,000 per month and that it be hiked annually.
