In Gorakhpur, the provincial basketball competition saw impressive performances by teams in both the Under-17 and Under-19 categories.

On the second day of the 70th Provincial Secondary School Basketball Competition in Gorakhpur, teams from Gorakhpur, Varanasi, and Meerut divisions dominated. Players showcased excellent performances in different age groups, winning many matches one-sidedly. In the Under-14 girls' category, Gorakhpur defeated Agra 24-21, while Varanasi beat Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya 14-10. Prayagraj defeated Aligarh 10-0.
