In Varanasi on September 17th, bathing in Lolark Kund was disrupted due to 3 kilometers of barricading. The ADCP held a high-level meeting regarding this.

Preparations have been completed at the ancient Lolark Kund in Bhadai, Varanasi, for the Lolark Shashti festival. Devotees will begin bathing in the kund after midnight on September 16th, ahead of the festival which falls on September 17th. ADCP Vaibhav Bangar inspected the preparations for the Lolark Kund fair on Monday. He reviewed the arrangements with representatives from the Municipal Corporation, PWD, Electricity Department, and social organizations.
