The semifinals for the regional wrestling competition in Deoria have been decided: 17-year-old wrestlers will compete in different weight categories.

The 70th Provincial Secondary School Wrestling Competition is underway at PM Shri Rajkiya Inter College in Deoria. On the third day of the competition on Sunday, matches were held for boys in the age groups of 14, 17, and 19 years. Wrestlers from various divisions across the state showcased their strength. The players in the 17-year-old boys' category performed exceptionally well and secured a place in the semi-finals. In the 55 kg weight category, wrestlers from Bareilly, Varanasi, Saifai, and Gorakhpur competed.
