A cow became the first to produce 18.5 liters of milk and win a prize by becoming a "Ganga-teeri" (a local term for a cow that has given birth to a calf). A buffalo from Azamgarh brought this achievement to the country, and a Nandi show was held at BHU.

The Nandi show was the center of attraction at the two-day rural festival 'Rangeelo Kashi' being held in the BHU's Helipad ground on Sunday. उन्नत breeds of cows and buffaloes brought from all over the country showcased their milk production capacity.
