Fire at a fan manufacturing factory in Varanasi: Explosions from turpentine and solvent drums caused the surrounding houses to be evacuated; pillars of a two-story building tilted.

A massive fire broke out in a factory in the Manduadih area of Varanasi on Monday morning. The fire spread rapidly, and within minutes, the entire premises was engulfed in smoke and flames. Upon receiving the information, police and fire brigade teams rushed to the spot and launched an operation to extinguish the fire. The fire was caused by flammable chemicals stored in drums of turpentine, solvents, and other chemicals used in the manufacture of fans at the factory. Due to the possibility of the fire reaching these chemicals, firefighters were on high alert.
