Navratri Special: Sudha became the 'Mommy' of those who were abandoned by their families: Since 2016, she has been working for the disabled, providing homes to destitute, mentally challenged women.

"When they sit down to eat at night, the girls living here start making video calls. Some share stories from their day, while others express their problems. Everyone calls them 'Mommy'. These aren't Sudha Dixit's own daughters, but they have now become a part of her life." Sudha, a 48-year-old from Varanasi, is taking care of these women and girls along with her family responsibilities, even though her family took the responsibility of looking after them.
