Chief Electoral Officer Navdeep Rinwa has declared a holiday on October 23rd for the voters of the Vidhan Parishad elections. Navdeep Rinwa stated that voting will be held on October 23, 2026, for the biennial elections-2026 of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council's 05 constituencies for graduate and 06 constituencies for teacher. The constituencies are Lucknow, Varanasi, and Agra.
