In Sonbhadra, an NDPS case resulted in the arrest of a mastermind who was wanted for ₹25,000. He was the mastermind behind smuggling 86 kg of marijuana and ran the gang with his uncle.

The Robertsganj Kotwali police in Sonbhadra have arrested a wanted criminal worth ₹25,000 in an NDPS Act case, who had been absconding. The accused has been identified as Mukesh Sah alias Amit Kumar (25), a resident of Ramshahar in Bhojpur district. According to the police, the accused had been on the run for a long time and a reward was declared for his arrest. Police had received information about the accused hiding in Bihar.
