Ahead of the UP elections, 25,000 students associated with ABVP have joined: The Minister of State for Urban Development said that it has nothing to do with the elections and that they run membership drives every year.

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) is running a membership drive. Ahead of the upcoming assembly elections, 25,000 students have become members of ABVP in the Varanasi metropolitan area. The campaign has also been ongoing for the past four days at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, where approximately 1100 students have been associated with the organization so far. Shivam Tiwari, the metropolitan minister of the Parishad, stated that their membership drive is not related to the elections. He added that they run a membership drive every year.
