Uttar Pradesh is preparing to develop tourism as a key sector in its goal of becoming a one trillion dollar economy. At a review meeting held at the Tourism Bhavan on Tuesday, Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh expressed displeasure over the slow progress of the action plan prepared by Deloitte. He stated that there has been no satisfactory progress on the action plan in nearly two years. Now, instead of just making plans, results should be visible on the ground.
