In Varanasi, three women from Gorakhpur were arrested for their involvement in a local news headline/summary about the Varanasi area of India. They used to approach the border with scorpions and then come into the city by auto-rickshaw to engage in prostitution and chain snatching.

The Varanasi police have apprehended a gang of women involved in street harassment and chain snatching after they were traced from Gorakhpur to Varanasi. The three arrested women are residents of Gorakhpur, along with their accomplice and the Scorpio driver. According to the police, these individuals would arrive in Gorakhpur by Scorpio and park it on Ring Road, then enter the city using different autos. They would target women inside the autos. All of them have been sent to jail by the police.
