Monsoon rains have started again in Uttar Pradesh after 3 days. On Wednesday, rain occurred intermittently in 10 cities including Gorakhpur, Kanpur, Unnao, Fatehpur and Jalaun. The weather changed at 4:30 pm in Varanasi with heavy rain accompanied by a thunderstorm. Earlier, Lucknow was plunged into darkness due to cloudy skies in the morning. Rain occurred in different areas, with streets turning into ponds in Fatehpur. In Sitapur, roofs were flooded amidst the rain.
