The area in front of the Cantt railway station in Varanasi is becoming a red-light district. Prostitution is taking place under the guise of hotels and restaurants. Women are being trafficked openly in the name of booking services. After a complaint at Tvera Gali, Cantt railway station, the police conducted a raid and found that prostitution was operating under the pretext of bus service. The police team caused a stir upon seeing them, and everyone started running away in panic, but the police managed to lock the main gate and apprehend them.
