The Bhadohi Carpet Expo Mart showcased a unique blend of handicrafts. This year, Kashmiri 'Happy Tree of Life' carpets woven from 4.5 million threads and Jaipuri carpets made from saree waste became popular among the people. More than 400 buyers from 56 countries, including the United States and Europe, were impressed by the rich heritage of Indian weaving in Bhadohi. The 50th India Carpet Expo concluded on October 7th. The expo featured 300 exporters and weavers from 4 states.
