Local shopkeepers are angry over the arbitrary demolition of the municipal corporation's shopping complex located at the Beniyabag Tiraha in the Dashashwamedh zone of Varanasi. According to the shopkeepers, the High Court had ordered the demolition of the municipal corporation's shopping complex after the shopkeepers were shifted. However, on Sunday, some individuals, identifying themselves as municipal corporation employees, arrived and vandalized the complex. When the shopkeepers protested, they were forced to retreat.
