In Uttar Pradesh, more than 10 rivers, including the Ganges and Yamuna, are in spate. In Farrukhabad, the Ganges is flowing above the danger mark. Six concrete houses have been submerged in the river in two days. In Ballia, cars and bikes have been washed away by the floodwaters of the Sarayu River. In Unnao, water from the Pandu River has entered settlements, with boats navigating through the streets. In Gonda, crocodiles have entered residential areas along with the floodwater of the Ghaghra River. Due to fear, villagers are staying indoors.
