The King of Lalbagh resides in Kashi's Sherkothi: A 6-foot statue has arrived from Mumbai and will be available for viewing for 5 days.

The Ganpati festival has begun in Kashi, the city of dharma, starting today. The grandest pandal in the city is built at Resham Katra Sher Kothi, where the king of Lalbagh has been installed. A magnificent 6-foot tall statue adorns the pandal. This five-day Ganesh Utsav was inaugurated by Ayush Minister Dayashankar Mishra Dayalu. The immersion of this idol will take place after five days, with a dhol tasha troupe from Mumbai arriving to make the event grand.
