The Indian Air Force will deploy 6 MI-17 helicopters in Ghazipur. A base will be built for the Varanasi air show, and the Andhowa airstrip will undergo a makeover.

The preparations for the air show to be held in Varanasi in the last week of October have reached Ghazipur. Six MI-17 helicopters of the Indian Air Force will be deployed at Andhow Airport in Ghazipur for the air show. In view of the proposed inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the administration has started preparing the Andhow airstrip. As part of this process, DM Anupam Shukla inaugurated the Andhow airstrip around 2 pm on Thursday afternoon.
