Rivers overflow in UP, displacing 600 families: Bridges submerged in Gonda and Badaun, schools closed in 6 cities; rain alert in 46 districts.

In Uttar Pradesh, rivers are overflowing due to continuous rain for the past 4 days. Eight rivers are flowing above the danger mark. Water has entered hundreds of villages. After water was released from Nepal, the Gandak (Narayani) River in Kushinagar has flooded. 1400 families in 2 villages have been affected. Except for 600 families, others are forced to live on embankments. In Gonda and Badaun, water is flowing over small bridges. People are crossing the bridges through 2-3 feet of water.
