Lucknow won the state-level Kalaripayattu competition, securing 7 gold medals. Players from 18 divisions participated at the KD Singh Babu Stadium.

A state-level Kalaripayattu competition was held at the Sri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Multipurpose Hall of KD Singh Babu Stadium in Lucknow. The competition was inaugurated by Dr. Pradeep Kumar, Joint Director of Education, Lucknow Division. Participants from 18 divisions across the state took part in the event. Media Coordinator Dr. Dinesh Kumar explained that Kalaripayattu is a martial art and a school sports competition.
