In Varanasi, relief materials were distributed to flood-affected families in Govardhanpur, located in Ward No. 23 of the Lanka police station area. Under the leadership of Corporator Ram Singh Yadav, also known as Kallu, rice, flour, lentils, buckets, candles, and other essential food and daily necessities were provided to the affected families. Ram Singh Yadav stated that approximately 70 to 80 houses in Govardhanpur have been impacted by the floods.
