The Gorakhpur region has won its 70th state-level basketball competition by reaching the semi-finals after winning the quarter-final. The Meerut and Banaras teams showcased their strength.

On the third day of the 70th Provincial Secondary School Basketball Competition, organized by MG Inter College in Gorakhpur, quarter-final matches were played in different categories on Wednesday. The competition witnessed intense competition among the players. Teams from Gorakhpur, Meerut, and Banaras divisions secured their place in the semi-finals with impressive performances. In the Under 14 girls' category, Gorakhpur defeated Lucknow 21-8.
