People from the Bansphora-Dom community have arrived to claim their rights to barren land: forced to live by the roadside even after 76 years, demanding permanent housing.

In Ghazipur, the Bansफोर and Dom community are still struggling for land and permanent homes even after 76 years of independence. On Monday afternoon, around 1 pm, several people along with Praduman Pehlwan, the national president of the Bansफोर community, reached the Rifle Club in the district headquarters. They met with administrative officials to present their demands and also submitted a letter to the District Magistrate. Praduman Pehlwan stated that there is a lot of barren land vacant in the village councils of the district.
