He is accused of defrauding approximately 80 crore rupees from over 50,000 people by luring them with the promise of an 18 percent monthly return. Upon receiving the news of the arrest, several victims rushed to the city's Kotwali police station and demanded their money back. Santosh Yadav is a resident of Munari Kadipur in Varanasi. He was arrested on September 21st based on a complaint filed by Sibu Kumar and others.
