In view of the possibility of heavy rainfall in Varanasi, all schools from pre-primary to class 5 will remain closed on September 9. Schools from class 6 to 12 will operate from 9 am to 3 pm. This arrangement will apply to schools affiliated with the Council, Government, aided, recognized, ICSE, CBSE, and other boards. There will be a holiday for children in Council schools from class 1 to 5, but teachers and staff are required to report to school by 9:30 am.
