An unidentified vehicle ran over two friends on their bike, resulting in their death. The accident occurred on the Varanasi-Gorakhpur highway in Mau, and both were working as painters.

In the Sarayalkhansee area of Mau, a speeding unknown vehicle hit two friends on their bike on the Varanasi-Gorakhpur highway on Thursday night. Both young men died at the scene in the accident. The accident occurred near Tajpur Sainik School around 8:30 pm. After the accident, the driver fled the scene. The deceased have been identified as Mohan Rajbhar (27), son of Shambhu Rajbhar, and Swagat Rajbhar (27), son of Shivpratap Rajbhar, residents of Achhar village.
