CHOs stage sit-in protest in Lucknow: Healthcare services in Varanasi are affected, forcing patients to go to CHC-PHC.

A sit-in protest is being held in Lucknow regarding the demands of Community Health Officers (CHO). In Varanasi district, the absence of CHO is affecting health services in the 205 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs operated in the district. Due to the lack of local treatment and health facilities for patients in rural areas, many are having to travel 5 to 10 kilometers to reach the nearest Community Health Center (CHC) and Public Health Center (PHC).
