In Varanasi, a program was held on International Day of Peace, with hundreds of citizens participating in prayers for freedom from war and violence in Kashi.

On the occasion of International Day of Peace in Varanasi, wishes for world peace, harmony, and welfare of humanity were offered from Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham on Sunday. Prayers were made at Baba Vishwanath's court for global peace, brotherhood, and freedom from violence. Under the coordination of Rajesh Shukla, Convener of Namami Gange Kashi region and Cleanliness Brand Ambassador of Municipal Corporation, 'Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah' was chanted in front of the statue of Bharat Mata in the Dham premises.
