In the Ratanpura block of Mau, a private hospital was secretly treating patients. During treatment, a woman and her newborn child lost their lives. The administration and health department had sealed Indrajeet Hospital in November 2025 itself. After the matter came to light, the health department has sealed the hospital again and is preparing to file an FIR against the operator.
