IIT-BHU presents a blueprint for the rejuvenation of the Lowa River: DPO in Sonbhadra receives certification, emphasizing conservation and water flow.

On the occasion of World Rivers Day on September 27, a program was organized at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-BHU), Varanasi, where a presentation of the prepared action plan for the rejuvenation of the Lowa river, a small river in Sonbhadra district. The event was organized by the State Clean Ganga Mission, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Under "Ek Nadi Ek Pehal" (One River One Initiative), 15 District Project Officers (DPOs) from selected districts of the state were presented with their respective rivers'
