Ajit Pratap Singh, the district in-charge of the Azad Adhikar Sena in Chandauli, claimed to have been placed under house arrest in his ancestral village of Jamunipur on Monday. He stated that the Sadar Kotwali police had confined him to his home. However, the administration has not yet confirmed this. According to Ajit Pratap Singh, police personnel have been present at his house for a long time. He was detained amidst the Karni Sena's headquarters siege program in Varanasi.
