A camera was found installed in the bathroom of a girls' hostel in Gorakhpur. The girls created an uproar and several videos were obtained; the warden had already installed it.

In Gorakhpur's Cantt area, a girls' hostel had cameras installed in the bathrooms. A student reported this allegation to the police late Tuesday night at 112. Following this, the Cantt police force arrived at the Mohaddipur-based girls' hostel. The camera was found on an Android mobile phone kept in the bathroom, with its face pointing towards the toilet. The student alleges that when she checked the mobile, she also saw videos of several other girls.
