Protest against fake Gond certificates: Hundreds of people from the Tharu community marched to the Collectorate demanding the removal of the Principal Secretary.

In Balarampur, hundreds of people from the Tharu community protested against fake Gond Scheduled Tribe certificates. These individuals, who had come from the India-Nepal border area, expressed their opposition at the district headquarters on Tuesday. Under the banner of the Tharu Welfare Committee, women, men, and youth gathered at Tulsi Park. Dressed in traditional attire, protesters marched from Tulsi Park to the Collectorate with placards and banners. They also protested against the fake certificates and demanded that they be cancelled.
