Shankar Giri has become the new district in-charge of Jaunpur. He said that winning all five assembly constituencies is their first priority and BJP will field winning candidates in Malhani, Mungrabadshahpur.

In Uttar Pradesh, the BJP has appointed new district in-charges for its 98 organizational districts. State President Pankaj Chaudhary released the list of district in-charges on Saturday evening. Shankar Giri has been made the district in-charge of Jaunpur. Originally from Varanasi, Shankar Giri began his political journey 35 years ago as a ward president. In Varanasi, he served as Mandal President, and then as the District President of Yuva Morcha.
