On the second day of Sharadiya Navratri, a large crowd of devotees is gathering in the city of Varanasi to worship Mata Brahmacharini, the second form of Goddess Durga. The ancient temple of Mata Bhagwati Brahmacharini Devi, located at Durga Ghat in Varanasi, has been witnessing a steady stream of devotees since morning. The entire temple complex is reverberating with chants of "Jai Mata" (Victory to the Mother). Devotees are reaching the temple's doorstep with their wishes and are standing in long queues to pay their respects to the Goddess.
