A cleanliness awareness rally was held in Varanasi-Bareka on Gandhi Jayanti: officials and employees took a pledge for cleanliness and planted saplings.

On Gandhi Jayanti, a message of cleanliness and environmental protection was given at the Banaras Rail Engine Factory (BAREKA) on Friday. As part of Swachhata Pakhwada-2026, an awareness rally was organized from the golf course to the administration building. The rally included railway employees, Railway Protection Force personnel, Scouts and Guides, and school children. Participants carried placards with messages of cleanliness and environmental protection as they marched along the entire route, chanting slogans.
