On the third day of Navratri, devotees thronged the court of Maa Chandraghanta, with the belief that they would attain wealth, prosperity, and liberation through darshan and worship.

On the third day of the Shardiya Navratri, a festival dedicated to the worship of Shakti, devotees flocked to Kashi to worship Maa Chandraghanta. Long queues of devotees started forming at the ancient temple of Maa Chandraghanta, located in the Chowk area of Varanasi, since the Brahma Muhurta. With flowers, coconuts, and puja items in their hands, devotees were seen waiting for their turn to have darshan of the Goddess for hours. The temple premises were filled with devotion since morning.
