Meat and fish shops will remain closed during the Varanasi AIR Show: The state government has declared it a state event, and the municipal corporation has ordered an 8-day closure.

On the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the Indian Air Force, strict security and sanitation arrangements are being made for the grand aerial display (Aerial Display-2026) organized at Namo Ghat. In this regard, keeping in mind the safety of the fighter planes flying in the sky during the air show, the sale and cutting of meat and fish have been completely banned within a 20 to 30 kilometer radius around Namo Ghat from October 19 until the end of the program.
