Case of irregularities in BHU superspeciality tender: Lokpal summons administration, orders to present case on October 14th.

The case related to the tender process for two-year-old MRI and ultrasound machines in the super-specialty block of BHU Hospital in Varanasi has now reached the Lokpal. Following a complaint, the Lokpal has sent a notice to the BHU administration, calling them to present their side on October 14th. The matter is related to the tender issued in August 2024. The administration has initiated the process for PPP operations of MRI and CT scan machines in the super-specialty block.
