Thieves arrested for stealing students' bicycles at BHU: The thief used scissors to cut the lock; a student had tracked down the bicycle using GPS seven days ago.

Following complaints of frequent bicycle thefts in the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) campus, the Lanka police have taken action and arrested three notorious bicycle thieves. The police have recovered 12 stolen bicycles from their possession. According to the police, the accused would cut open the locks of bicycles parked on the BHU campus using scissors before stealing them. They would then take the bicycles outside the campus in an attempt to sell them to passersby.
