In Varanasi, the national convention of the Akhil Bharatiya Vyas Sangh passed several resolutions, including those related to conversion, alleged objectionable comments on Hindu scriptures and deities, connecting the younger generation with culture, and awakening a sense of nationalism. The convention, held at the ancient Patalpuri Math in Kashi, was inaugurated by Jagatguru Balak Devacharya Ji Maharaj, the national president of the Vyas Sangh, who lit the lamp. The convention focused on issues related to conversion.
