In Varanasi, India, today, workers and leaders of the Samajwadi Party (SP) have launched a protest against Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar, alleging alleged rigging and a lack of transparency in the election process. On the final day of the SP's 'Save Democracy Week' campaign, workers from all 8 assembly constituencies of the district will gather at Shastri Ghat today. A massive protest march will be taken out from here to the district headquarters.
