Dr. Shah named to CGHS working group: The only member to be elected from UP, will work on improving healthcare services.

The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has entrusted Dr. Manoj Kumar Shah, a renowned health entrepreneur and consultant from Varanasi, with a significant national-level responsibility. He has been appointed as a member of the Joint Working Group (JWG) of the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS). Notably, he is the only member from the entire state of Uttar Pradesh to be nominated to this crucial group. The announcement was made on October 9, 2026.
