Sonam Kumar has been appointed as the DCP Ganganagar in Prayagraj: 4 IPS officers have had their working areas changed; Kuldeep Singh Gunawat will handle crime cases, while Manish will manage traffic.

In the Prayagraj Commissionerate, Police Commissioner Piyush Mordia transferred four IPS officers on Monday night. Sonam Kumar, who was recently transferred from Agra, has been given the responsibility of DCP Ganganagar. Along with this, he will also monitor cases related to cybercrime. In a similar move, IPS Kuldeep Singh Gunawat has been removed from the post of DCP Ganganagar and given the responsibility of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime).
