Magistrial inquiry into the death of Naxal commander Brijesh Ganju: Varanasi DM has ordered that evidence must be submitted by October 24th; the ATS had killed him.

A magisterial inquiry has commenced into the death of Naxal commander Brijesh Ganjhu, who was killed in an encounter by the ATS at Pankha Maidan in the Varanasi Ramnagar police station area. The inquiry is being conducted on the orders of District Magistrate Satyendra Kumar. Additional City Magistrate I has been assigned the responsibility of conducting the investigation. The inquiry will begin on October 1st and continue until October 24th. Evidence, documents, or other materials related to this incident are being examined in the court of Additional City Magistrate I.
