Youth dies from snakebite: No help received even after a year; farmer leader submits complaint letter to DM.

Farmer leader Devprakash Rai submitted a complaint letter to the Mau district collectorate at around 12 pm on Tuesday. He stated that even nearly a year after the death of a young man due to snakebite, his family has not received the financial assistance from the state government. He demanded that the DM provide immediate help to the affected family. The complaint letter mentioned that Pramod Rajbhar (son of Ramsamujh Rajbhar) of Sahroz village was bitten by a snake on August 5, 2025.
