A plumber residing in the Shivpur police station area of Varanasi has accused his wife, who is posted at the Prayagraj Excise Department, of torturing him. The husband claims that he was a 10th pass when they got married, while his wife had an intermediate degree. When his wife expressed her desire to pursue further education, he worked as a laborer and plumber to support her studies. His wife went on to complete her BA, MBA, and BEd degrees, after which she prepared for competitive exams and joined the Excise Department in 2022.
