The sound of the water resonates as one bathes in the Lolark Kund: tomorrow, millions of couples will come from every corner of the country, connected to a history linked to the Gupta period.

A bathing ceremony, known as Lolark Shashti, will be held on September 17th at the ancient Lolark Kund in Varanasi. It is estimated that around one lakh devotees from across the country will attend, with the primary purpose of seeking children and especially a son. According to religious beliefs, taking a bath in the kund on the day of Lolark Shashti and visiting Lord Lolarkeshwar for worship fulfills one's wishes related to having children.
