In ITIs, students will study what companies need: PM Setu model to be implemented in a cluster of eight cities; industry participation from training to placement.

In Uttar Pradesh, government ITIs will now be prepared according to the needs of industries. The Yogi government in the state is preparing to develop ITIs as per the demand of industries under the Prime Minister's Skill and Employability Transformation through Upgraded ITI (PM-SETU) scheme of the central government. In the first phase, government ITI clusters in Kanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Agra will be developed to meet the demands of industries.
